The Night A Magic 8-Ball Fell From Space

One night, a giant magic 8-ball fell from the sky. Local authorities finding themselves baffled about the incident, some citizens walked up to it to take a closer look. Then it began moving and turning things into different things...

So basically you play as a giant magic 8-ball that's running around the city doing spooky magic transformation stuff.

1 playthrough lasts 5 minutes. Each minute switches up gameplay a bit by adding one new element.

Controls:
Hold [ X ] - Summon cue stick to move ball
Press [ B ] - Change cue stick's rotation while summoned
Press [ SPACE ] - New transformation (visible in upper left corner)

Made for Minijam 74. Theme: Chaos. Limitation: Limited input (allowed keys: A  X  Space  P  8  B).  All programming, sprites, and the music was done by me.

- Added a timer to the top right of the screen (since the "goal" of the game wasn't really clear beforehand)
- Made the cue stick rotate a bit faster
- Fixed a bug where two tanks could spawn in one position
- Fixed a bug where bombs would push you in certain directions even if you has a "BOMBS BECOME ______" transformation
- Fixed a bug where pressing SPACE near tank bombs would crash the game
